Sunday School, Youth Fellowship, Out-Reach Projects
As a church our Sunday School is providing a safe place where our children can develop a relationship with Jesus through prayer, reading the bible, worship, and participating in mission projects. Sunday School classes begin at 9:45 am. Youngsters will be dismissed from the worship service, from September through June, for children ages 3 through grade 6. Grades 7 through High School will meet following worship service
Our out-reach mission projects include Christmas shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse, Christmas bell-ringing for the Salvation Army, Souper Bowl of Caring (by our Jr. & Sr. MYF), Operation Kid-to-Kid for school supply kits during Vacation Bible School. The Sunday School collection each week goes to Heifer International to purchase animals (bees, seed etc.) for families in poor countries. The off-spring are then passed on to other families in the community for the benefit of all.
During the school year we have groups for Christian fellowship: grades 6-8 participate in the Jr. MYF (Methodist Youth fellowship) program, while grades 9-12 participate in the Sr. MYF program. We have three children’s choirs:a youth choir for 2nd grade and up; a cherub choir with Kristal Bells for pre-school to 3rd grade and a Bell Chime Choir for 2nd grade through high school. Each summer our church sponsors a Vacation Bible School week. Check in the Summer to see which program we will be running this year.
We encourage you to come and share our excitement for God’s love. Become a part of our Christian family each Sunday. For more information or questions, please click on the “Contact Us” link in the menu at the left of the page.
